Carrier FP and BP Whole House Humidifier
Keeping your home’s humidity in the optimal range is important for maintaining proper indoor air quality. Dry air lowers your body’s immune response, cracks your home’s wood furnishings, and dries out your skin, eyes, and nose.
During winter months, properly humidified air can reduce the transmission of viruses like the flu by up to 30%, in addition to reducing asthma flares, and helping your sleep better.
These quiet, high-capacity humidifiers can help keep your winter heating costs down because humidified air feels warmer – letting you enjoy comfort at cooler temperature settings. It’s a logical alternative to simple bypass-style models, perfect for larger homes with its high output and improved moisture dispersal.
How It Works
When the humidifier control calls for humidity and the blower motor is operating, water flows to the distribution tray located at the top of the humidifier.
The water is uniformly distributed across the width of the tray and through a scientifically designed system of outlets. It flows by gravity over the humidifier pad.
Dry, hot air is moved through the moisture-laden humidifier pad where evaporation takes place. The now humidified air carries moisture in vapor form throughout the home.
